Holiday House Kick-off: Author Event-Talk & Book Signing, Wednesday, December 3, 2-3:30 pm Meet Elizabeth Zunon, artist and award-winning illustrator. Free. Advance registration required; space limited.

Candlelight Walk-through Tours, Museum Shop Opening Night & Reception, Wednesday, December 3, 3:30-5:30 pm   $10 / children & ACHA members free. Artisan goods, books, wreaths. 10% off purchases.

Sustainable Holidays & History: Ten Broeck Mansion Special Tours, Thursdays & Fridays December 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 at noon, 1 pm, 2 pm. Advance registration recommended. $10 adults / children free / ACHA members free.

Music in the Mansion: Elizabeth Silver (violin) & Erica Pickhardt (cello), Saturday, December 6, 11 am  A classical exploration of holiday music. Free. Advance registration required; space limited.

Walk-through Tours Saturdays & Sundays, noon-2:30 pm  December 6-7, 13-14, 20-21.   Free. Advance registration recommended.  Space is limited. 

Paper Quilling and Art Inspired by History Demos  Sunday, December 7, noon-2:30 pm  Free. Meet artists Alyssa Yeager and Maret Lyons, and browse their work in our Museum Shop.

Sinterklaas Stories & Children’s Ornament Making  Saturday, December 13, 11 am-noon Free. Pre-registration required.  Space is limited.

Embroidery Demonstration  Sunday, December 14, noon-2:30 pm Free. Fine needlework with the New York Capital District Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America.

Traditions of Scotland: History & Weaving of Scottish Tartans  Sunday, December 21, noon-2:30 pm  Free. Join the ScotlandShop to learn the rich history of Scottish textile traditions.

Museum Shop: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, noon-3 pm, December 4-21  Free. No reservations required.  Unique, hand-made wreaths & ornaments, artisanal goods,  ornaments, Albany & NYS history books.

 All programs at the Ten Broeck Mansion include free children’s “Indoor Forest” & “Round the World” activity guides. Free ornament kits for children.
