Join us for our free Family History Scanning Days. Speak with an archivist and curator about identifying and preserving your family’s history. Learn more about dating your family’s records, how to conduct family research using free resources, and how to care for your family’s records.

On-site Consultation Workshop for Nonprofit Organizations:

  • Historical Society & House of Worship Archivist Training Workshop: Thursday June 23 1-3 pm – free for Albany County historical societies, library groups, nonprofits, and houses of worship

On-site Family History Scanning Events: 1-3:30 pm in Ten Broeck Mansion gardens. Free archival supplies (acid-free folders and white cotton gloves). Opportunity to have your family’s record professionally scanned for inclusion in researcher resources (not required). Free workshops on memoir writing and journal-making for all ages.
