December 4: “A True Gem” Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck.

  • Kick off our Holiday House! Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck at Glennpeter Jewelers in Glenmont. Music, hot buffet, Victorian Dress photo-ops with Capital REP, raffle & more.  5:30-7:30 pm.  Register for tickets.

Walk-through Tours: Saturday-Sunday, noon-2:30 pm (about 30 minutes).  Advance registration recommended as spaces are limited.  Free. Tours include free children’s take-home activity kits.

  • Saturdays and Sundays, December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22
  • Weaving demonstration Sunday December 8 Noon – 2:30 pm
  • Capital District Chapter of the Embroiders’ Guild of America demonstration Sunday December 15 12:30 – 3:00 pm

Special Tours: holiday themed tour of the Ten Broeck Mansion (about 50 minutes) includes special demonstrations on sustainable gift giving and decorating. Advance registration recommended as spaces are limited.  $10 adults, children and ACHA members free. 

  • Fridays December 6, 13, 12 at noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm

Museum Shop Hours: hand-made wreaths, shop locally made goods, history books, and exclusive Ten Broeck Mansion gift items.  No tickets or reservations needed.

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday noon-3 pm (Dec 6-22)
  • Custom wreaths for sale.

Arts & Culture Talks: Holiday Food Traditions from Around the World

  • Wednesday, December 18, 7 pm via Zoom—free.  Pre-registration required for link. 

Free Children’s Program: Saturday December 21 from 11 am—noon

  • Sinterklaas Story Time: Meet Sinterklaas and hear a story in the Ten Broeck Mansion parlor. Stories begin at 11:00 am and 11:30 am. Walk-ins welcome. Free.
  • Children’s Ornament-Making: Make a fun and festive holiday ornament to take home. Advanced registration required since space is limited.

November 29: “A True Gem” Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck.

  • Kick off our Holiday House! Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck at Glennpeter Jewelers in Glenmont. Live music with Carmen Lookshire, hot buffet, Victorian Dress photo-ops with Capital REP, raffle & more.  5:30-7:30 pm.

Music in the Mansion with the Albany Symphony:

  • December 2 noon-12:45 – Winter Concert & audience Q&A with Albany Symphony members Liz Silver (violin) and Erica Pickhardt (cello).  Free admission (advance registration required).

  • Wednesdays at 7 pm via Zoom—free.  Pre-registration required for link.

  • December 20: Judith Dios, Innovations in Fiber Art

Food Collection: help those in need.  Please bring non-perishable food items to drop off.
