2025 Holiday House Schedule
Walk-through Tours
- Saturday-Sunday December 6 – 7, 13 – 14, 20 – 21 noon – 2:30 pm
- About 30 minutes. Free.
- Advance registration recommended.
- Free kids’ activity kits.
Special Tour: Sustainable Holidays at the Ten Broeck Mansion
- Thursdays and Fridays, December 4 – 5, 11 – 12, 18 – 19 at noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm.
- About 50 minutes. $10 adults, children & ACHA members free.
- Advance registration recommended.
Ten Broeck Mansion Museum Shop
- Thursday – Sunday, December 4 – 21, noon – 3 pm
- No reservation required.
- Shop locally made goods, handmade wreaths & ornaments, vintage china, local history books, and exclusive Ten Broeck Mansion gifts.
- All sales support the Ten Broeck Mansion and local artisans, historians, and authors. Thank you.
Talk & Book Signing: Elizabeth Zunon
- Wednesday, December 3, 2 pm – 3:30 pm
- Elizabeth Zunon: artist and award-winning illustrator of over twenty children’s books.
- Free. Advance registration required; space limited.
Holiday House First Look & Candlelight Viewing
- Wednesday, December 3, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
- Enjoy a walk-through of the Ten Broeck Mansion illuminated by candlelight.
- Browse our Museum Shop—10% off during event.
- $10 adults, Children & ACHA members free. Advance registration recommended.
Holiday Concert with Eribeth Duo (cello & violin)
- Saturday, December 6, 11 am—noon: Free.
- Join Albany Symphony cellist Erica Pickhardt in a classical exploration of holiday music.
- Advance registration required; space limited.
Paper Quilling and Art Inspired by History Demos
- Sunday, December 7, noon – 2:30 pm. Free.
- Join artists Alyssa Yeager and Maret Lyons for art demonstrations during walk-through tours.
Free Children’s Holiday Program
- Saturday, December 13, 11 am – noon.
- Free. Advance registration required for both programs as space is limited.
- Meet Sinterklaas (the Dutch Santa Claus), listen to stories in the parlor, and make a festive ornament to take home!
Embroidery Demonstration
- Sunday, December 14, 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
- Free. Join the New York Capital District Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) for an embroidery demonstration and discussion during walk-through tours.
Traditions of Scotland: History & Weaving of Scottish Tartans
- Sunday, December 21, 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm. Free.
- Join the ScotlandShop to learn Scottish textile traditions during walk-through tours.
