November 29: “A True Gem” Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck.
- Kick off our Holiday House! Fundraiser for Education at Ten Broeck at Glennpeter Jewelers in Glenmont. Live music with Carmen Lookshire, hot buffet, Victorian Dress photo-ops with Capital REP, raffle & more. 5:30-7:30 pm.
Music in the Mansion with the Albany Symphony:
- December 2 noon-12:45 – Winter Concert & audience Q&A with Albany Symphony members Liz Silver (violin) and Erica Pickhardt (cello). Free admission (advance registration required).
Walk-through Tours: Saturday-Sunday, noon-2:30 pm (about 30 minutes). Advance registration recommended as spaces are limited. Free. Tours include free children’s take-home activity kits.

- Embroidery demonstration Sunday December 17
Special Tours: see the Ten Broeck Mansion’s 3 levels (about 50 minutes) includes special new exhibit on holiday food preparation. Advance registration recommended as spaces are limited. $10 adults, children and ACHA members free.
- Fridays December 1, 8, 15 at noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm
Holiday Memory Journal Art of the Book Workshop (age 18 and up)
- Saturday December 9 11 am – 12:30 pm all supplies included
Museum Shop Hours: shop locally-made goods, history books, and exclusive Ten Broeck Mansion gift items. No tickets or reservations needed.
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday noon-3 pm (Dec 1-17)
- Custom wreaths for sale.
Free Children’s Programs: Saturday December 16 from 11 am—noon
- Sinterklaas Story Hour: Meet Sinterklaas and hear a story in the Ten Broeck Mansion parlor.
- Ten Broeck Children’s Tea Party: taste teas & treats from around the world and make a tea treasure box. Advance registration required for Tea Party & art program. Pre-registration required.
Arts & Culture Talks: “Warm & Wonderful: Fiber Art Traditions”
- Wednesdays at 7 pm via Zoom—free. Pre-registration required for link.
- December 13: Dr. Krysta Dennis, Siena College, Loudonville NY “Patterns of History: The History & Traditions of Knitting“
- December 20: Fiber Artist TBA
Food Collection: help those in need. Please bring non-perishable food items to drop off.
