We are excited to announce a return of our partnership with Confetti Stage to present “Shakespeare Shorts: Shakespeare Monologues in the Ten Broeck Gardens” on August 28 from 2:30-3:30 pm. Confetti Stage Director John A. Nickles shares: “If you want to know what it is to be human, read the works of William Shakespeare.” The company will be available for a short question and answer session after the show.
Selections from Shakespeare will be performed in the gardens of the Ten Broeck Mansion. The event features some of Shakespeare’s most memorable scenes with a talented cast. Tickets are by advance registration here. Pre-registration is required. The rain date is Sunday August 29.
The ACHA and Confetti Stage are following NYS health protocols to ensure visitor safety. Audience members are requested to wear a face mask when checking in, and asked to bring their own blanket or lawn chairs. Audience members will be guided to spaces 6’ apart per household. Concessions will be sold to help support the ACHA. No alcoholic beverages or additional food may be brought in. Confetti Stage is a Capital District nonprofit theater group founded in 2004.
